Hello
I would like some advice on what my best choice is. /> Built my new PC, Jan 03 to the latest specs & used my same OS
Win 98SE. I just got an OEM full install of Win 2000Pro. My 40gig WD
drive is set up 20/20. Since I plan on installing Photo Shop 6,
Illustrator 10, Acrobat 5, Corel Draw 10 no gaming.
What would
be my best choice? Dual Boot 98/2000 or just go with 2000Pro. All I
can think of now is taking lessons @ Lynda.com & Tuts for all my
software, some e-mail & I moderate 4 forums @ XXX Im loosing
interest & time for that very quickly.
I have been using MS
Front Page, but will be finding a bet

Hi...I have just put a brand new system together with some assistance
from a few members in another part of the forum. My previous system
was running on win xp pr 32bit and I was running highly intensive
graphics programs (3D animation/rendering software - Maya, ZBrush,
Realflow, Mudbox, etc...), video rendering programs, and music
production software (Cubase SX, Reason, etc...). I was using 2 WD
Raptor drives only for my OS and programs with 1 as a backup clone and
the other in the system. On my new system I have cleared all data off
of my 2 Raptors, set them up as I want in a RAID 1 configuration, and
upgraded to windows 7 pro 64bit. Because I still have so many
programs that I use on wi

I have a gateway sx2110g was purchased for my church with win 8 x64. I
want to install win 7 ultimate x64 removing win 8 (drivers are
available) and creating a system image on a separate partition that I
create. I want to maintain the ability to go back to factory and this
can be achieved by copying recovery partition to flash drive which it
will make a bootable recovery environment. (PE) Of course doing this
will remove any traces of my win 7 installation and partition
customizations.
Now you know what I am going to do with the PC
here is the trick... The Win 8 bootable recovery partition USB drive
has enough space to accommodate the win 7 bootable repair disk ISO.

Recently I've purches a new ASUS N550JV, however, thanks to micosoft
you can no longer get a single new laptop without windows 8 />[ranting] and I absolutely hate this OS, believe me I've tried to
use it, but it's just so hostile against you, forcing you to use the
stupid metro interface, no start menu I could go on for hours but
let's stick to the question. [/ranting]
How would I be able to
dual boot Windows 7 on my laptop? (I have an installation USB for Win7
readily available)
