Word / Acess mail merge

When I am doing a mail merge from MS Word (3013) to MS Access
(2013) I encounter the following problem:
After selecting
Mailings > Select Recipients > (db) I get the dialog box that is
small and transparent (see smallCroppedZip attachment). It should look
like (see largeCroppedZip attachment) The first time this happened it
drove me crazy, until I figured out that I could grab the top edge and
drag it larger. It is still a pain. It just started doing this a few
months ago. Anybody know what it takes to fix it?
Acess XP/Word XP Mail Merge date format prob />
Im having a problem with a mail merge document that
sources data from an Access database.
What happens is that the
date format comes out in the merge fields in mm/dd/yyyy format when I
need it in dd/mm/yyyy format. The database shows the date in the
desired format (apparently picked up from the regional settings of the
PC - Australia). Only when the data is merged does the problem arise.

Any clues where to look?
Any more information needed? />TIA.

I am trying to put a command button on a form that would send the
current data on the form (or in the table) to a Word Mail Merge. Any
help or sample code would be of great help. Thx in advance

I wrote a script in cold fusion that attaches a word document as
an OLE object in an access database.
Seemed like a great idea at
the time (warning of things to come)
Now I need to do a word
merge of all the documents that have been attached to my database. I
can't simply merge because it is an OLE field type.
Can anyone
tell me how to merge word documents contained in an OLE field into a
regular word merge?
The reason I used OLE instead of MEMO is
this: The web site was used for a scientific abstract submission
process at a cancer research center. The students use many special
characters and greek letters which I have foun

I have data from Access merging into bookmarks that are located
in a Word document. I really would like to have a comma displayed
between the city and state bookmarks, but those fields are sometimes
null. I can not put the comma in the Word document, because then it
shows even when the fields are null. Is there anyway to do this? The
current line of code that I am using is listed below. I am using
Access 2003, but it will be running as Access 2000. Thank you for
your assistance!

I have got the impression that doing an automated Word merge from
a single record query causes problams.
The following code:

objDoc.MailMerge.OpenDataSource _

Name:=CurrentDb.Name, _
LinkToSource:=True,
AddToRecentFiles:=False, _
Connection:="QUERY
qry_WordMergeActive", _
SQLStatement:="SELECT *
FROM qry_WordMergeActive"
fails in that I am asked to select
from a list of tables. It is strange in that it does not matter which
table I choose.
I understand that others have had to use a text
file as the datasource when there is only one record. I don't real
