Can't enter in TCP IP properties

Hello all,
I using windows 7 home premium and have problem with LAN adapter, I can't enter TCP IP properties, I need to assign static IP
Properties button not available.
Also I can't unmark any of items listed in connection. I'm only user of this PC and administrator.
When boot in safe mode I can do all what I want but in regular boot I can't.
Does anybody know how to remove this limitation ?
On my business PC I do not have such limitation.
Thanks in advance.

hi i have windows 7 home premium 64bit where im loggin as administrator. Im trying to access the properties of TCP/IP but i couldnt; when i click on TCP/IP and click on Properties; the properties screen just pops for blink seconds. Also uninstall option for TCP/IP is grayed whereas i can successfully uninstall/install other things like Client for MS Networks, File & Print Sharing for MS Networks.
I triend uninstalling network card driver and reinstalling it but still same problem.
This problem is happening with my both Wireless Network Adapter and Wired Lan adapter.
Network Adapter Card is not permitting access to TCP/IPv4 properties.

Aloha All,
The machine i'm using as I type, has Windows 7 x64 and uses a Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller. Before I upgraded my router to a new Linksys E3200 "N", I was able to enter the controllers properties and change the Ip from DHCP to static.
Prior to changing routers, I entered the properties and changed the Realtek Controller from its static IP back to DHCP.
I then entered the router control panel and established my settings and went back into the properties of the Realtek Controller and attempted to enter the TCP/IPv4 properties.
I was stunned to get the following error message appeared saying that "In order to use TCP/IP, you must insta

why doesn't alt+kp enter open properties as alt+enter?
Windows XP & 7 & 8
Hello, this might sound silly for some of you big linux geeks, but I really don't understand why nautilus or caja (these I tested) don't open folder properties upon pressing alt+small enter. It just goes into that folder like I did not hold that alt at all! Why does it force me to make those another 20cm hand movement from the mouse to the left to reach for the big enter? :) That's pretty user unfriendly IMHO. I am not sure if this happens in unity as well. I tested on Mate-desktop and also on Red Hat linux nautilus. How do I fix this drawback and is there any reason why this is not a default already?
