BSOD After installing graphics drivers

After installing the drivers for my ATI Radeon HD 6450,I am asked to
restart my computer. Every time I just get a blue screen on startup
and have to restore from backup. I've attached a zip file of the logs
from the BSOD.
Hello there,
I am new to the forums, so please excuse me for any
rules I might break. I've read them all and as far as I know abide by
them, but you never know.
The following problem is bothering me a
lot:
Ever since my netbook crashed and I decided to reinstall
Windows a week ago I am unable to install my video drivers: Intell
Graphics Media Accelerator 3150. Whenever I do this (by using windows
update or by downloading the drivers from ASUS) and I restart my
netbook I get a blue screen with error 0x0000007f. When I look in the
Event Viewer (after installing the driver via windows update I get the
following errors:

I'm new at using Linux, hence the reason I am here. I need some help
with installing a particular driver. I have read some pages for
assistance, but it looks like I have to use the terminal and I don't
want to mess up anything.
I'm trying to install drivers for my
Mobility Radeon 9000 so the graphics will stop being choppy.
I'm
using Ubuntu 8.10. Much thanks.

I'm a little confused, so maybe somebody can help me.
I'm trying
to upgrade the video drivers that came installed with Ubuntu v9.04.
I'm REALLY new to Linux. I know exactly what kind of video card I've
got, and downloaded the drivers for it, but it's some sort of .run
file or something? How do I install this?
(It's an nVidia card
by-the-by. I only want to install the drivers to get better screen
resolution, and better graphical effects.)
Any offers?

I just decided today on giving Ubuntu a try and so far I love the look
of it. I am completely new to all of this and so far have only
installed Ubuntu Restricted Extras. When I look at the Details of my
pc, I notice that it doesn't display my Graphics Card, it only says
'unkown'. I tried Googling how to install ATI drivers for Ubuntu
12.10, but I don't really understand most of the posts I read. My
laptop has an ATI Radeon HD4200.
Another question I have is how
do I manage to play World of Warcraft? I heard of Wine and was
wondering if I just need to install that to run it?
And lastly,
if anyone has some general tips for someone completely new like myself
on where t
