Bridging local adapter and VPN adapter

Are there any performance or security issues in bridging local adapter
with VPN adapter? VPN is an external service provider.
Hello
I have my AWUS036H for a few months now and it worked
perfect until now.
My landlord has a router in his appartment and
I need to connect to that router to get access to the internet.
I
bought this adapter for a better signal but this week I got a very
weird problem.
My adapter can find all the networks surrounding
it except my landlord his network. But my inbuilt adapter can find my
landlord's network and all the others. To clarify, here an example: />AUS036H finds:
Neighbour1 (strong signal)
Neighbour2
(strong signal)
Inbuilt adapter finds:
Neighbour1 (weak
signal)
Neighbour2 (weak signal)

Is there a way to get the name of the network adapter that is running
on the local machine? I know there are a ton of built in network
functions in PHP but have never familiarized with them and not sure
what is available.
Thank you

Hi all!
Let's assume you have a "eth0" physical
ethernet adapter with four IP addresses, just like this: />192.168.1.1
192.168.1.2
200a:1111:1::1 />200a:1111:1::2
Now I want services to listen on the IP
addresses that end with 1 and another service (on the same TCP port!)
to listen on the IP addresses that end with 2. I imagine having a
second virtual ethernet adapter that is somehow bound to eth0 and gets
a name similar, like eth0_1, to have a configuration like this: />eth0
192.168.1.1
200a:1111:1::1
eth0_1 />192.168.1.2
200a:1111:1::2

Just installed Openconnect on my 12.04 system and am really pleased as
I can connect to my work without having to use windows. Interestingly
enough - it appears that Ubuntu loses awareness of the Rosewill wifi
adapter (model probably not important here initially) and even a power
on reset of the pc won't fix it - but unplugging it from USB and
reseating it gets me back online. This isn't something that will ruin
my day - but is there a fix for this ? Perhaps a setting I missed
somewhere ?

When I use the LS adapter to Foo model in first page, I
defined/mentioned the DS.LSAdapter to that Foo model and get the model
data from database to the local storage. after I can access/manage the
model data using by local storage adapter in the first page. It is
working fine here.

Next I will navigate to second page and this page model is
defined/mentioned the Rest Adapter for Foo same model. Ember does not
make REST API call here, because the problem is first LS adapter
initiated in the first page and this second page is not initiate the
REST adapter for that Foo model. How do we initiate the rest the
adapter to Foo model in second page without page refresh?

Please you give the solution to fix it. Thank you so much.

Model

App.Foo = DS.Model.extend({
id: DS.attr('id'),
name: DS.attr('string')
});

Mention the Local Storage Adapter in first
page

Controller

App.FirstPageController = Ember.ObjectController.extend({

});

Route

App.FirstPageRoute = Ember.Route.extend({

model: function() {

App.FooAdapter = DS.LSAdapter.extend({ namespace: 'ls-emberjs'
});

return this.store.find('foo');

}

});

Hbs

<ul>
{{#each model}}
<li>fooID: {{id}} - Name: {{name}}</li>
{{/each}}
</ul>

Mention the Rest Adapter in second page

Controller

App.SecondPageController = Ember.ObjectController.extend({

});

Route

App.SecondPageRoute = Ember.Route.extend({

model: function() {

App.FooAdapter = DS.RESTAdapter.extend({});

return this.store.find('foo');

}

});

Hbs

<ul>
{{#each model}}
<li>fooID: {{id}} - Name: {{name}}</li>
{{/each}}
</ul>
