Open an external swf in controlled window not in internet browser

Hi Everyone,
I want to open an external swf from another swf
file. I do not want the external swf to open in a internet browser, I
want it to open in a controlled window (1024 X 710) no scroll bars, no
everything. I've located how to open a web site in a controlled window
with a browser, but I haven't been able to locate any code that opens
a swf in a new window with the browser.
Please help! the name of
the external swf is icb.swf. I know it involves JS but haven't found
the correct one to use yet.
In my main movie there is a button that when clicked should open a new
browser pop-up window containing a new swf. the pop-up window should
be the same size as the swf's movie size.
I need to know how and
what html files will be needed on the server to post all movies. />Any help is much appreciated...
Thankyou very much. />justpinz

Hi,
I have my main site in a .swf file which links to a external
.swf - From this external .swf I would like to open a HTML pop-up
window with the button action
on (release) {

getURL("JavaScript:openWindow("dark.htm",
"320", "370")");
}
But it does
not work at all - I have placed the correct code in my HTML file. This
has worked fine before I started using external swf's so what am I
doing wrong??
You can see my test site at

I have this flash presentation where I have buttons when clicked on, a
(_blank) browser window pops-up and begins playing external SWF's. />The problem is that, with windows XP, every time I click the
button(s) to have the browser window pop-up, to play my externals, the
damn 'virus protection notification' thing pops-up first, asking me if
this content is allowed. Is there a way to turn this off? My client
does not want to have to "allow" the browser to play the
external SWF's everytime. I've tried everything but no luck. />Better yet, is there a way to have the external SWF's pop-up in a
totally new flash window, on top of the main (presentation) window

Hi there, I am building a Flash
interactive map that opens in a pop-up window from several pages on
the site. This flash doc has buttons that suppose to open pages back
in the window that the flash pop-up came from.
I tried all I
could think of and search for days for a solution, I am, well.. kind
of desperate please help.
It seams that to achieve the above, I
need to use javasript and I don't have much experience with either
Flash or Javascrip.
The latest thing I found looks promising but
I don't know where to put the javascript Flash doc portion. See
below....
