Your login attempt was not successful. Please try again PROBLEM

Hi,

I have a problem with my login control. I changed the
code in order to use my own database (SQL Server 2005) and no matter
what i do i get the message "Your login attempt was not successful.
Please try again. "!!!

in the web.config file i chose my own
connection string leading to my database, so i don't use the default
database for the login authorization.

Do i have to change
anything else in there?

Check out my code below

Please
anyone who can help i really appreciate it!!!!!!!

When I
debugged the code I get the exception on the line 55

after updating my hardy heron with kde 3, i have a massive problem of
some kind with the x server and am completely clueless what to do. />i can log in on the bash, but on the bash apt get doesn't work so i
can't reinstall, i don't think. when i try to run a program - for
example kmail - i get the message "cannot connect to x
server".
when i enter my password normally in the kubuntu
login dialog, the screen goes black briefly, then the login dialog
returns. and i KNOW the password is right because it works in the
bash. i have this problem trying to get into kde OR into gnome, both
of which i have installed and use alternately. now it doesn't even

With the karmic 9.10 Xubuntu there are no login screen ready, login
successful or logout sounds, and apparently nowhere to change this
situation.
Have these been removed from Xubuntu now or is there a
way to get them working.
I would have thought these were
essential tools for partially sighted users? (not that I am, yet!)
but I miss the jolly do-dum of Jaunty

Hi all,
I accessed my Ubuntu (not so secure server) this morning
and accessed it via VNC to see (for the second day in a row) that my
Chrome browser had a Western Union page loaded in it with someone's
account. I tried browse through the account but the page was
killed.
I checked the Chrome browsing history and everything, but
the Western Union, pages were in the history page (go back for 6
hours).
I checked the /var/log/auth.log and I don't seem to find
any SUCCESSFUL SSH2 attempts to my server. There were multiple
attempts with different usernames but all failed.
Could you
please advise what else needs to be checked? For some reason, I do
Ubuntu

I have set a random port number to a private IP address that's
connected to my network.
This device that exists at that private ip on the network is running
linux.

I setup this port foward from a different machine - the actual
device connected at the end of the private ip I specified in the port
forward doesnt have much software, its a fresh OS install.

For the sake of this question, I am curious if its possible to
somehow connect to this device or even ping it thought the global
dynamic ip and port number, without actually installing a
webserver/other software on the device to test the ip and port is
being redirected to that private ip(device)
