Ze WAVE sound file player

Short little sound files of chicken, horses, dogs, cars, trains and
other annoying things is the realm of the wave file (.wav). These are
easy to play and guaranteed to confuse grandpapa. Again, we are using
Windows' sound workhorse winmm.lib file. Ze function this time is
PlaySound(). Here is ze C++ console code.

Hi all, I went through all my possibilities on this one and I think I
know what's going on, but don't know how to change it.
I heard a
wav file sound (full volume playing through my sound card) and thought
it was on start up. I did everything to quiet that sound in windows
but it didn't help.
I reaslize now by experimentation, that it
plays right before loading windows.
I thought perhaps there is
some thing in the bios settings that could be playing this sound, but
couldn't find anything to tweak.
Any suggestion would be greatly
appreciated!

Say I have a big list of wave samples, can I write those wave samples
to a wave file? If possible, how?
Thanks, August.

You can use Python modules math, wave, and struct to create and
save a synthetic sine wave of given frequency and duration (size)

I have an issue in exporting audio file recorded using matlab, when
I record my voice and play it back it sound fine, but when I save it -
export the audio - as a wav file and play it either by playing that
exported file or read it again using matlab, it sound differently, the
length is shorter and speech is faster and sound funny, how can I fix
this?

voice = audiorecorder;
disp('Start speaking.')
recordblocking(voice, 5);
disp('End of Recording.');

play(voice);
y = getaudiodata(voice);

filename = 'myvoicerecord.wav';
audiowrite(filename,y,Fs);
