I will open up by saying that the computer was dropped yesterday
from a low level and it cracked a little piece of plastic. I turned
the computer on rigt after that to check it and it worked and
continued to work for the 2.5 hours of use(plugged into a power
inverter in a car, which has never given me problems before but
thought Id mention it). After the drive I tuned it back on, on
battery power at home and it continued to work fine. Left it to go
into hibernation mode, which im assuming it didnt because it seems as
though the battery was dead when i got to it this morning. Well I
tried to plug it in to charge and to use it and all that happened was
the power light on the front flash

Thinkpad X200s (most recent model) RC x64 installed. The Microsoft BT
Mouse 5000 connects but does not move. It previously worked under
Vista. My Blackberry 8330 does connect and work via Bluetooth (but
there are two Bluetooth Peripheral Devices under other devices that
are not found).
In device manager under Bluetooth radio is two
drivers:
1. Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator
2. Thinkpad
Bluetooth 2.1 with Enhanced Data Rate
When I move the mouse, the
Bluetooth Icon and bubble comes active "A Bluetooth Device is
trying to connect" and asks me for the connection code (there is
none and it was already connected) -- since there is no code I tr

I have no idea what is going on. I had samba working with different
shares and users. Then, after a reboot (for ftp reasons, not touching
samba at all) when I tried to log on from xp the log on window just
flashed. I tried it four times with different user names. I tried
rebooting all the clients. Then I rebooted the server, restarted samba
and it worked. After about an hour it started doing the same thing.
FTP and SSH are still working fine. I also tried rebooting the samba
service many times too.
Here is the smb.conf even though there is
nothing on it.

Hello all!
I am very new to Ubuntu server (11.04) and am hoping
this is a simple fix.
I was editing the smb.conf in samba to
allow for group access sharing folders. Before doing this I added the
groups, added users, set the users passwords, etc. After adding
folders in the smb.conf (I was following a tutorial), I exited the vi
with wq and then restarted the virtual machine (VirtualBox). After the
restart I went back to edit it again to correct a name mistake and the
server would no longer accept my username, saying it was not in the
sudoers file. Tried to use visudo to fix, but the machine would not
take the root password. I'm assuming the root password is mine, bei
