zvsarc.exe

Hello.

This is my first post so appologies in advance.

Does anyone know what the process zvsarc.exe is I have tried to
google it and get no useful results. I noticed one of my XP machines
has been contantly downloading and uploading to the internet and have
tracked it back to the "zvsarc.exe" process.

I have dissabled
the process and resumed normal network traffic however would like to
know what the process is and what it does. Any help will be
appreaciated.

Thanks

After startup, the processes mstask.exe, system.exe, hql.exe,
nvmqi.exe and faxshellm.exe initially take 99% CPU time, after a few
minutes faxshellm.exe alone takes 99% and keeps doing so until
stopped. About nvmqi.exe and faxshellm.exe there seems to be no info
on the web. Is malware involved?

Hi everyone, I've been having some strange activity with my laptop
the past few days and came here with the hopes of figuring out what's
wrong to hopefully fix it. Let me try to give you a brief rundown of
the problems that started popping up as I realized something must be
messed up:

-Two days ago everything seemed to be working fine
on my computer, no issues. However, when I navigated to My Computer
and then tried to access an external harddrive, E: I believe, nothing
would happen no matter how many times I double-clicked on the drive
icon - Windows Explorer wouldn't change directly but also wouldn't
freeze. I tried many times and found this odd.

-However, I

Well supposedly there is a new
virus going around in an email titled "I'm in Love' or something, well
unfortunately I do remember opening an email relating to that title..
and strangely enough these supposed "virus'" are now in my
computer.... I ran Panda Scan and it detected 8 viruses, naming the
ones I will name, and supposedly fixing them..but "MiCr0s0ft.exe",
"Microsoftx.exe" and "ns.exe" are all running in my System, and taking
up Memory and my CPU , varying from 3000 k, to 14000k....
So,
naturally my computer is running very slowly, and the net is only
partly working (Microsoft INternet Explorer is getting the Error

Hello,

At work, I am seeing three new variants of deviant
behavior on our network. The machines are Windows 2000 and XP Pro,
and they are patched to recent patch levels. Norton Antivirus does
not detect these viruses, and the internet is really skimpy on
details.

SYSTESM32.EXE
-- yes it is spelled correctly />-- found several times with regedit, but only in safe mode
--
prevents regedit and task manager from staying open
-- floods the
network trying to re-infect (I did not sniff, no tech detail)
--
Had to use Procview from www.prcview.com to kill this in normal
mode
-- was infected on Sept 28, so is new to us
-- Key name
is Winsock
