Neo4j spatial php example

HOME ยป PHP

I'm looking for a very basic example of using neo4j spatial
features from php, preferably with the use of this library
neo4jphp

i want to store a list of venues with their
latitude and longitude

how do i store such information?
can the lat and long be stored with the other venue info in one
node?

how do you find venues around some given
point?

thanks

edit: with spatial features i
mean the spatial plugin for neo4j

I have been reading about Neo4J:
https://github.com/neo4j/spatial/blob/master/src/test/java/org/neo4j/gis/spatial/TestSimplePointLayer.java

but I cant' understand how to use them, in fact I don't
even know if this is supported in the beta version of Neo4J in heroku,
could someone tell me if this is possible and if so, do you have some
code that can guide me on how to add Latitude/Longitude to a node? In
REST API if you can, because I'm using .Net so I can't have the
complete client library in java

thanks in advance

PHP
I was able to successfully install Neo4j and Neo4j Spatial and run the
query:START n=node:geom('withinDistance:[51.521348,-0.128113, 10.0]')
RETURN node;I am probably missing something fundamental, but is there
a way for me to set a starting node for Node4j Spatial to start
calculating 'withinDistance'?For example, I would like to run
node:geom('withinDistance:[51.521348,-0.128113, 10.0]') starting on
node(5000), for example.Thanks.

I'm using this code to find nearest nabours to an given point in the
wgs84 format(the variable co)for(Node n : geomPoints){
ExecutionResult result = engine.execute("START a=node(" + n.getId() +

a-[:FIRST_NODE]->()-[:NEXT*0..]->()-[:NODE]->b "+
"RETURN b");
Iterator<Node> nodes = result.columnAs("b");
while(nodes.hasNext()){ Node nodesInGeom =

I have created a test database with Neo4j Spatial Java API. Is there
any tutorial how to use uDig/Geotools for visualizing the spatial
data? I followed uDig Quickstart tutorial
(http://udig.github.io/docs/dev/SDKQuickstart/SDKQuickstart.html) to
setup uDig but I do not know how to use it with Neo4j Spatial.

I am trying to use R to model grids of agents that change their
decisions based on the decisions of other agents in their direct
proximity. Basically - each agent looks to the other agents around him
on the grid, and might change its behaviour based on the the actions
around him. I have included some sample dinky-toy code per below to
show (one iteration) of such dynamic.I am wondering whether a) there
is an elegant manner to address the boundaries of the grid (currently
the t+1, i+1 code does
