How to convert an HTML page to .ASPX page and add/Remove Controls to it without changing the layout of the page

Hello I'm a newbie for ASP.NET

I have a designed html page from another program, I want to convert the html into a asp.net aspx web form using visual web developer.

I have opened the page normally but it's difficult to move or replace controls in layout page, for example when I move a button, the design of page collapses.
How I can insert button or textbox into a aspx/html on Visual web Developer 2010 without changing the layout of the page?

Losing web controls data when navigating from one page to other in webgrid which is in aspx page
Programming Languages

Hi I had a webgrid in my aspx page with paging, when I try to navigate from one page to other page in the webgrid. I am losing data of other controls in aspx page. Basically the webgrid when navigating from one page to other its trying to reload the whole aspx page.

My question is how to make this webgrid stand alone in my aspx page and not to reload the page when mvoing from one page to other

Thank you in advance

I have a mater page. Within that I have a content page. I am opening a pop up window from this content page using using window.open method. I also tried opening a modal dialog box as an alternate option.

Copying the whole layout with controls from one aspx page to another page - Moving Controls dynamically - ASP.Net
Programming Languages

Here is my issue.

I've a page main.aspx. This page has a button 'Settings'. When it is clicked, I load another aspx page settigns.aspx in a popup. Now in the settings.aspx i allow the users to add controls dynamically. For example the user can create 5 textboxes. When he saves it there, I need to get that controls to main.aspx.

So i need to move all the controls from one page to another page. I'm not able to think of a solution with user controls.

Any ideas on this?
