How to start/stop/redeploy maven web app using cargo start inside Eclipse

I have Maven2 war project built, I'm using the cargo start plugin, and it works great for deploying the web app. To run the maven command, I use a .bat file in my workspace, and I have en external run config to run the the bat file. I can't seem to stop the server from the Eclipse console, or re-deploy.

Does anyone have any advice on how quickly start/stop/re-deploy to Tomcat locally while developing.

<version>1.1.0</version> </parent>

Im new to Eclipse. I use Tomcat as my run time server, but every time I modified the jsp pages, Eclipse was still displaying the older one. Just wondering how to redeploy the application so the changes can be reflected.

Cargo maven plugin - start goal ignores configuration, “run” works fine
Programming Languages

I want cargo maven plugin to start a Tomcat7 so i put into my pom:

<plugin>
<groupId>org.codehaus.cargo</groupId>
<artifactId>cargo-maven2-plugin</artifactId>
<version>1.2.0</version>
<!-- minimal configuration to let adb run (mvn package org.codehaus.cargo:cargo-maven2-plugin:run) in a local tomcat -->
<configuration>
<containerId>tomcat7x</containerId>
<containerUrl>http://archive.apache.org/dist/tomcat/tomcat-7/v7.0.16/bin/apache-tomcat-7.0.16.zip

Web app does not start inside eclipse
Programming Languages

I have created a webapp based on this example:

http://code4reference.com/2012/09/hello-world-web-application/

I have converted it into a dynamic web project using eclipse 4.2. The structure is:

MyProject
-> src
-> webapp
-> WEB-INF
-> appContext
-> beans.xml
-> mappings.xml
-> web.xml

I have a local installation of tomcat 7 that I specify when setting up the server inside eclipse. When I run the server (with the above web app) I get:
