How to update my rails 3.0.0 beta 4 app to rails 3.0.0 RC and eventually to Rails 3?

My first problem is a bundler conflict

$ bundle install
Fetching source index from http://rubygems.org/
No compatible versions could be found for required dependencies:
Conflict on: "bundler":
* bundler (0.9.26) activated by bundler (= 0.9.26, runtime)
* bundler (>= 1.0.0.rc.1, runtime) required in Gemfile
All possible versions of origin requirements conflict.

After I figure that out,

Is there anything I need to do to change my Beta 4 Rails app to work on the RC?

How can I create a rails project using rails/master?

rails new app_name --edge uses Rails 3.2.8 and points to the '3-2-stable' branch in the Gemfile.

Creating a rails project, pointing gem 'rails' to master and running bundle or bundle install generates several errors. I am also weary of this approach because the rails new command for each version can vary.

Rails 3.0.0.beta Install problem: can't find executable rails
Programming Languages

I'm trying to install the rails 3.0.0.beta and I'm running into this issue:

justins-mac-: justinz$ ruby -v

justins-mac-justinz$ rails -help

Any clues as to what is going on here?

Rails plugin for generating dynamic / ajax crud interfaces compatible with Rails 3 beta?
Programming Languages

Anyone know of some good gems or plugins to create dynamic / ajax crud interfaces for Rails 3 projects? I know active scaffold was popular before and it's been awhile since I have used it / any other gems similar to this (I usually just write it myself).

I like the direction that the formtastic gem (http://github.com/justinfrench/formtastic) is headed and wonder what else people are combining with it.

Also I like the generators approach that Ryan Bates uses and he appears to be making updates for Rails 3.

Anything else I am missing here? (I am also open to gems not compatible with Rails 3 too I guess, I can always make a contrib

Newbie to Ruby on Rails here. Pretty dumb question I suspect. Are there differences between the two? I'm just bothered by "." These are probably the same command with differences being ____version____ and the "." Can someone explain?
