CM13 Update result: (Soft)Brick

Hi Guys,

yesterday i wanted to update (dirtyflash) my lg g3, because the
2312-Build of CM13 was extremely buggy (Restarts, Blackscreen by
ingoing calls, etc.) I´ve done this before about 10thousand times and
on 100 other phones, but yesterday after the flash in TWRP the TWRP
wasn´t able to delete the cache.

I tried to flash again to delete dalvik and cache afterwards clean,
this time it worked. The phone was booting to the PIN-Entry but it
freezes - no entry possible.

I want to try flash back an older build, but phone stucks in bootloop
- so i have to manually enter recovery to get into twrp. I flashed an
older cm13 build 1812 and cache deleting was not possible again. />

Yesterday was Xmas so i thought i will fix it today, but on first time
when i tried to get manually into recovery mode, the question for
deleting all data appeared, but after that TWRP wasn´t starting, just
the stuck lg logo again. (Battery was pulled out for the whole
night)

Now im not able to boot into recovery mode anymore or do something
else. I tried the download mode (Vol+ and then plug in USB) without
access.

I cant do something, just look at the beautiful LG Logo - have you
guys some advice for me? What could i try?

Ok, so I rooted my phone using a method where i flashed an older
kernel then used towelroot to root, and then flashed back to NJ4. All
was going well, and i installed the safestrap recovery. Then, today i
was tryin to install the CM12 for the S4, and i messed up where i put
the files for this, so when i was in safestrap, it told me it failed.
I hit reboot, and that is when my phone essentially 'soft bricked'. I
tries to boot up, fails and goes into download mode. I tried pulling
out the battery, tried to go into recovery, but i cant do it. I tried
to flash 4.2.2. stock s4 firmware thru odin, but it kept saying
"Can't open the serial(COM) port." and fails. I can't do
anything right now, please help im panicking Dx

Looks I've managed a soft brick. I've been able to get it back
into recovery and I've been able to push stock recovery (and also just
tried TRWP). Odin seems to work and the T700 appears to accept the
recovery. Following reboot I'm still getting stuck back to the
Samsung boot animation but then I'm stuck at the boot screen; nothing
past that.

I'm not sure if this should help any, but while in recovery mode the
upper corner reads the following:

ODIN MODE

PRODUCT NAME: SM-T700

CURRENT BINARY: Custom (after flashing TRWP, when flashed with stock
it said 'Samsung Official')

SYSTEM STATUS: Custom

I would appreciate any assistance and thanks in advance! This is my
first soft brick since Eclair!

hi everbody,

im a kind of lost for this one, i asked earlier if the LG-D850 roms
was compatible for the LG-D852 and a user says me yes. so after
flasing a D852 recovery and flashed a D850 rom, i am right now stuck
in fastboot mode. I been able to go to download mode but I cant flash
the D852 stock factory image with the lg flashtool because my phone
thinks he a D850 device. So what should I do for this one ? flash a
att stock factory image with the flashtool or that move will screw up
my device for good ? Any ideas to get back my original model number
?:crying:

thanks for your reading and happy holidays
Android
Hi all, I hope you can help me with my problem. Today I decided
to modify the toggles on my Xperia S, wich is on latest stock
Jellybean with DoomKernel, with this href="http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2072757"
target="_blank">http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2072757
but then, too late because I had already flashed the .zip package, I
realised that it was for ICS stock. Luckily I have a twrp backup, but
when I try to restore it I get stuck (also if the blue bar keeps on
going) on "Formatting system using make-ext4fs" and then it
turns off automatically, but nothing about a successful restore
appears. I know I can flash the stock image using Emma, I did it
before, but since I won't access to a strong wi-fi connection till the
end of the holidays, I would prefer to avoid that and use my twrp
working backup. Thanks in advance to you all.

Best regards

Hello, I have been trying to flash for 2 days now but still
couldn't get it working.

Initially, my I9305 is running on stock without root. I wanted to root
it and then install recovery and ROM.

And so I prepare the necessary files, and start to flash.

I used CF-Auto-Root to root my device first, then got Resurrection ROM
and Gapps to flash.

Then I started to get some issue, as it always fail. Error message
like no file context and so on. So I read online resources, and found
out that I had a older version of TWRP installed which may cause the
install.

I then tried to upgrade TWRP but it doesn't allow me to. No choice, I
had to flash philz touch, and I did.

I then tried to flash Resurrection again, boot up, and it keep giving
me bootloop. After which I downloaded nameless ROM, and CM11 but same
issue.

Yesterday night, I downloaded the stock firmware to try. I flashed it,
and it is successful based on ODIN, but it still won't boot up.

I just tried it again and it stuck on the Samsung logo screen.

Can anyone tell me what else to do? What I have to do?

This is the stock firmware that I have downloaded and flash -
I9305XXUENH1_I9305EVRENH1_EVR.

Let me know what other information I have to provide.

Thanks!

Here's the Download mode information.

Custom binary count: 9 counts

Current binary: samsung offical

System status: custom

Knox void: 1

RP SWREV: A2

Update: 16/1

I just tried to go into my recovery mode and apparently, it has been
changed back to stock recovery which I assume is because I have
flashed the stock firmware.

I am trying it yet again after wiping in stock recovery, to flash the
stock firmware again now.

P.S: I have posted it in href="http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/help-i9305/qa-samsung-galaxy-s3-lte-roms-kernels-t2999494"
target="_blank">http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...rnels-t2999494
but no reply. So trying my luck here.
