From LG G2 to Nexus 6

HOME » Android
I have an LG G2 with Cyanogenmod 12.1 and I just bought a Nexus 6
and flashed Cyanogenmod 13 on it.

Is it possible to transfer all my apps and system settings from the G2
to the Nexus 6?

I'm trying to avoid the long process of having to reconfigure my
settings manually.

Check out the video on the 2nd page, "n our experience, the Nexus
6 was slower than the Nexus 5. Apps took longer to launch, tasks took
longer to switch, and sometimes—particularly during heavy
multitasking—our Nexus 6 liked to get stuck and pause for a few
minutes while it thought about things. It would often "chug"
during our normal usage and in general felt like a slow device.

Above is a video of the Nexus 6 (running Lollipop) versus its
predecessor, the Nexus 5 (running KitKat). We're just simultaneously
launching apps on each device. This is the simplest and best of tests,
pitting all the hardware and software of the Nexus 5 against the Nexus
6. As you can see in the video, the Nexus 6 is continually a few beats
behind the Nexus 5, and this is just a light workload of launching a
few apps. Heavier workloads, like launching a 3D game, give the Nexus
5 a multi-second victory over the Nexus 6.

In our video, both devices have just been restarted, clearing anything
that would be in RAM. The versions on all of the apps match." />

I might consider go back to the Nexus 5 I sold...

I am getting the following error in Nexus Snapshot repository while

Like many of you in the past, I am a Verizon unlimited data
customer that didn't want a phone that was locked down from Darth
Verizon. I purchased my galaxy nexus December of 2011. I just
purchased my Nexus 6 from Moto's website and am psyched. All I have to
say is this experience going from a Galaxy nexus to Nexus 6 is going
to be epic.
I've had a Nexus 9 for 7 days now and just recieved a replacement
one (dead pixel). Upon setup of the new/rewplacement one it does not
list the old Nexus 9 as device i can restore from. I chose set up as
new device in hopes of using Tap & Go to restore it, but thats not
working. NFC, Bluetooth, Android Beam, Backup my data to Google
Servers are all enabled on both devices, but when I tap the devices
nothing happens (tried back to back, front to front, front to

Any ideas?
I'm trying to consolidate info from 2 or 3 posts into one.
Hopefully someone who knows more about this than me can correct me if
I'm wrong. Are these the correct steps to take?

1) activate stock rom slot (

2) download all files needed to es file explorer ( Twrp, 3.2.4 update,
2.0.2 rom, gapps, towelroot )

3) flash Twrp with flashify

4) from Twrp wipe factory reset

5) from Twrp flash 3.2.4 update

6) Install towelroot apk using es file explorer (or Twrp?)

7) boot back into Twrp (power and volume +), then wipe

8) from Twrp flash 2.0.2 rom and gapps

9) uninstall safestrap

Will this work or is there an easier method?
