Being able to compress our files so that it is easier to
share and/or transport them can make our electronic lives much easier,
but sometimes we may see odd or unexpected sizing results after we
compress them. Why is that? Today’s SuperUser Q&A post has

Suppose that I have 10,000 XML files. Now suppose that I want to send
them to a friend. Before sending them, I would like to compress them.

The title says it all really, but im a newbie to python
sort of. I can
read in files and write files no probs.
what I want to do is read in a couple of files and output them to
one single file, but then be able to take this one single file
recreate the files I put into it.
Im really at a loss as
to how I go about recovering the files?
obviously if i scan for a
string that specifys the start and end of
each file, theres the
chance that the file might contain this term to
which would split
the files into unwanted chucks of file, which wouldnt

I have a folder that contains multiple folder and multiple
to be exact 1862 folder and file.
I would want to,
with one command, compress this so that ever folder becomes a separate
zip file and ever file thats not in a folder becomes a separate zip
Is this possible in ubuntu?
I have searched on google
and i can only find solutions for windows and mac and I have searched
this forum and found nothing. :(
So if there is same one out
there that have a tip please help.
