Hi everyone, this is more scifi question then a real problem.
So
anyone willing to free up fantasy is welcome.
PC with attached
lets say 3 sets of keyboards and mouses. Doable over USB.
What
I'd like to is to have Desktop where lets say 3 people can work at the
same time in front of same computer. Lets say you've got big big
screen with great resolution so plenty of space on desktop and you
want more people to work with it as the same time.
What would be
needed is possibly something like to have numbered sets of kb and
mouse as set1, set2 and set3. Then focus at multiple windows would be
needed.
So if one person klicks by mouse on open windo

Hi
I'm using Spotify with Wine.
It's peachy.
But I
can't share my playlists.
When I right-click and copy 'HTTP Link'
or copy 'Spotify URI' nothing gets copied to clipboard.
Does
anyone else have this problem, and is there a solution? />
I'm running
Wine v1.1.31
Spotify v0.3.23

Ubuntu 9.10 (karmic)
Kernel Linux

I was playing Fallout 3 the other day; I had an issue with some of the
gameplay so I checked online to one of the many mod sites for gameplay
tweaks. I did so easily and along with that grabbed a few
quest/storyline mods as well. They integrated seamlessly and added
some content to a game the entirely depends on content.
Fallout
3, as with most Bethesda games, and other games rely on a creative
community utilizing tools to add content and share this content with
others.
This got me thinking: with the community-centralism of
Ubuntu and FOSS why we don't see more collaborative games?
With
proprietary games users are limited to the tools released to

There have been many talks about personnel willing to help and wanting
to aid in the revival of UCE. Myself and others have made available
resources and avenues for you all to do just those very things. Join
the team, (which is currently a team of one...me!) We have a mailing
list that has gone dead as no one responds to it anymore and we have
multiple threads here on this very forum of folks stating they are
willing to help and i have put out calls for people to help in this
project and have not gotten one response back. Yes to answer your
questions there is already a release in works.

include:

i want to develop a notepad alike app where initially all those who
subscribed my pad can get my contents synchronized in real time but
they can't edit my pad's contents and later on i want
to give collaborative write access to every client.

There are so many references regarding sync between dropbox with
phone or within yours multiple devices but didn't
find anything useful.

EXAMPLE: Etherpad for desktop but mine is for
android.

(Q1) How can client subscribe my pad.
(Q2) How can i setup a server which once get my pad's content will
automatically broadcast to all the clients.
(Q3) How can i control conflicts for multiple write access between
clients.

Please give some references to start with..thanks
