Cannot update Storage Group directories, invalid path error

HOME ยป Ubuntu
I'm paraphrasing as it's not in front of me. And I apologize if
this ground has been trod before, I can't find it.

I have an SSD boot disk, and a 3tb HDD I want to use for storage. I
formatted (ext4) and mounted the HDD, and created a directory there.
In all it's path is /media/HTPCstorage/recordings. As in if you were
in /var/lib/ you'd go ../../ media/HTPCstorage/recordings

So I go into the mythtv setting to change the storage directories
(because /var/lib is a silly place for recordings to go, though since
it's guaranteed to exist, I can see why they'd use it) but I get an
error (on exit) everytime! Paraphrasing, but it's one of two things:
I either get 'path doesn't exist' or it appends an extra / at the end
and says /media/HTPCstorage/recordings//.test couldn't be saved. I
have tried every variant on the path name I can think of, prepending
/, the leading ../../

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I was working on this
until very late last night and waited until I could sleep on it to
post. No nighttime epiphanies. :( TIA!
My home folder contains a mixture of files, directories, and symbolic
links to directories (e.g. Documents, Downloads--they're in a
different location). Can the functionality of "ls
--group-directories-first" be achieved such that it groups
symbolic links at the top, too?

Yet another of the same error I've seen on this forum many times. All
other solutions have not worked for me.
I initially had Windows 7
installed on a SSD. Then I installed a separate drive, put 12.10 on
it, and suddenly I cannot boot into Windows and get this error:
invalid efi path.
My motherboard is an Asus P9X79 with the most
current bios.
As of right now I've tried the latest version of
boot-repair (recommended repair) and it hasn't helped.
Here is my
boot info (newest first):

Hi all!
My girlfriend purchased an Asus UX31a Zenbook with
Windows 7 preinstalled. I talked her into trying Ubuntu 12.04 but now
I cannot boot from the recovery partition anymore (Windows 7
recovery). Whenever I try to start from the Windows partition I get
the following error "error: unknown command 'drivemap'. error:
invalid EFI file path". I tried several solutions suggested on
the Web but nothing worked (including trying to repair grub).
My
only goal is to boot from the recovery partition to have Windows 7
installed again (I don't intend to use Ubuntu and Windows 7). Has
anybody an idea how to do that? I can mount the recovery partition, if
this is of
Ubuntu

This SQL works in parts, but put all together I get an error which
is simply:
"Invalid use of group function"
I assume it is referring to the UPDATE statement itself, as I'm not
using a GROUP statement, but I don't know why.
MySQL:

    UPDATE `Scores` s
INNER JOIN `Players` p ON s.PlayerID = p.PlayerID
INNER JOIN (SELECT PlayerID, Number FROM `NumberHistory` h WHERE
PlayerID = 136 ORDER BY Created DESC LIMIT 1) f ON p.PlayerID =
f.PlayerID
INNER JOIN (
SELECT Number FROM `Players` WHERE PlayerID = 136
UNION ALL
SELECT Number FROM `NumberHistory` WHERE PlayerID = 136
) m
LEFT OUTER JOIN (
SELECT PlayerID, COUNT(PlayerID) Activity
FROM `NumberHistory` WHERE Created BETWEEN DATE_ADD(NOW(),
INTERVAL -7 DAY) AND NOW()
) a ON p.PlayerID = a.PlayerID
SET s.PlayerID=p.PlayerID, s.PlayerName=p.PlayerName,
s.Number=MAX(m.Number), s.PreviousNumber=f.Number,
s.Diff=(p.Number-IFNULL(f.Number,0)), s.Activity=IFNULL(a.Activity, 0)
WHERE s.PlayerID = 136

I have installed Ubuntu 12.04 on my computer with Windows 8.1
pre-installed. But when selecting Windows to boot I get following
error: error: unknown command 'drivemap' error: invalid EFI
filepath

I ran boot-repair twice. The output can be found here: href="http://paste.ubuntu.com/9648776"

Hope you can help me
