I am dealing with the thumbnail in Android. Even though I use the function ThumbnailUtils.createVideoThumbnail provided by Android, it gets black bitmap.

I start my research and find out some links:
1/ Thumbnail null
2/ Video Thumbnail return null

However, I checked my returned bitmap and figure out that it is not null.

Please let me know if you have any ideas.

Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Android getPixel from Bitmap randomly starts to return black
Web Development

I'm developing a game for android using opengl es 2.0, and I use a height map bitmap to create a terrain. That works ok.

During the game, I have classes which represent entities in the game which store in their instances their (x,y) positions.
To get the z value, i use a method that queries the height map bitmap.

This is the method:

public float zAt(float pos[]){
float xPos = pos[0] + terrainWidth/2;
float yPos = height-(pos[1] + terrainHeight/2);
int bitMapWidth = zMap.getWidth();
int bitMapHeight = zMap.getHeight();
int pixelX= (int) (((bitMapWidth-1) * x
Android Bitmap is black
Web Development

I'm trying to draw a map from a textfile onto a Bitmap, but the Bitmap is all black

First i load a textfile that looks like this (shortened):

0000000000 (200 width)
0111111110
0111100010
0000111110
0000111000
0000000000
(120 height)

Where "1" is ground and "0" is a wall, 1 should be white and 0 should be black.

Code:

public Map(String map) {
this.map = map;
init();
}
public void init() {
mapArray = new int[WIDTH*HEIGHT];
String[] splitMap = map.split("
");

Android Bitmap Unwanted Black Border
Web Development

I have this bitmap on my imageview and when i save the bitmap, it includes the black border around the bitmap. The border is there because the size of the bitmap is different from the screensize. Anyone can tell me why and how to solve it? Thank you so much in advance!
