Error: “The query builder failed. Cannot open user default database. Login failed. Login failed for user <User Name>”

I'm using Visual Basic Express 2010 and SQL Express 2008 in Windows XP.

At first I couldn't add a datasource (the .mdf file for the database) because of a "Operating system error 32" which I seemed to have resolved by giving myself full permissions for .mdf file (by right clicking on the file and going into properties and then Security) and restarting the SQL SERVER (SQLEXPRESS) service.

The dataset for the database is in my solution explorer but when I right click on a table adapter to add a query and attempt to open up the query builder, I get the error in the title above.

As I see several similar issues that I am facing, I have a bit different problem. My connection string is

Data Source=(LocalDB)v11.0;AttachDbFilename=C:inetpubwwwrootaspnet_newApp_Datadatabase.mdf;Integrated Security=True;Connect Timeout=30" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient"

My application is running under .Net Framework 4.0 and managed pipelined mode is classic and identity is ApplicationPoolIdentity

The website is running perfectly but when I open visual studio and expand my database to add/edit tables, then the moment visual studio establishes connection with database, the IIS stops working and shows me this

Cannot open database “DBName” requested by the login. The login failed. Login failed for user 'MachineNameUser'

I created a web application but when trying to connect the DB I am getting this error

Cannot open database "DBName" requested by the login. The login failed.
Login failed for user 'MachineNameUser'.

I also tried adding that this user manually but it give error that this login already exist with different username..but it not shows in DB permission list.

Any ideas?

Thanks

SQLSEXPRESS service IS running!!

I have I program I wrote some time ago and it works. It was written in MS Visual Studio with local MDF file.

How is it possible to edit this file from Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio? I don't see this file in the list of globally connected databases.

If I try to attach this file with Visual Studio Wizard, I get message that such database already exists, but when I set arbitrary logical name, I get sharing violation.

How to reach MDF file?

EDIT 1

Now I found that my program also stopped to work.
