Foreach to start from the start for each included page…and not from the last element of the previous for

HOME ยป Web Design

Hi I am including three different pages

{include file="list-myItems.tpl" category="{$category|replace:' ':'}" active="false"}
{include file="list-myItems.tpl" category="{$category|replace:' ':'}" active="false"}
ent {include file="list-myItems.tpl" category="{$category|replace:' ':'}" active="false"}

All of the pages are using the same for loop ..
However the for loops doesnt seem to reset per page and start again and the index is increased

{counter assign=pagecount name='my_count' start=1 skip=1 print=false}
{foreach from=$myitems key=myId name=foo item=i}
medianet_width='336'; medianet_height= '280'; medianet_crid='202258688';

I expect to toggle an element's visibility: should I start with class=“…” or style=“…”?
Web Design

If I have an element on a web page that I expect to be showing and hiding quite a bit using javascript, which would be the most appropriate way to set it as initially invisible?

<div class="hidden">...</div>

or

<div style="display: none;">...</div>

Using class="..." is preferable to style="..." in most cases, but I'm not convinced it's the best fit in this case. Semantically, my element isn't a hidden element, it's just one that will start off hidden when the page first loads. As I'm using jQuery's show() and hide() methods, it means i

Difference between sc start … and Start-Service … in PowerShell 2
Web Design

I have a few different services installed on the same machine. I'm writing a PowerShell 2 script to start and stop them.

For some of the services, I can use Start-Service -displayname "the service" to successfully start it. On others, using the Start-Service cmdlet causes and error along the lines of "Cannot start service ... on computer '.'".

In the cases that I get an error using the Start-Service cmdlet, sc start "the service" always succeeds.

Vice versa is also true (although sc start doesn't return any errors--it just doesn't start the service at all.)

I am at my wits end here! My husband got some spyware on our computer (AGAIN). It is usually not that hard but I can't get this one to go away. I have tried Adaware, Spybot, and several other programs of the same type. Here is my hijack this log.
