Heroku Mailer Delayed Job failed with ArgumentError: wrong number of arguments (0 for 1) - 0 failed attempts

I have created two mailers, one of which is not working in
production on Heroku. The other mailer has been tested and it works,
so I know the email configuration with sendgrid is working.

/>

I have an invitations model:

class Invitation <
ActiveRecord::Base
attr_accessible :recipient_email,
:sender_id, :sent_at, :token
belongs_to :sender, :class_name
=> 'User'
has_one :recipient, :class_name => 'User'

validates_presence_of :recipient_email
validate
:recipient_is_not_registered
validate :sender_has_invitations,
:if => :sender
before_create :generate_token

before_create

Trying to create an instance of a model, I get the following
error...

u = User.create
# or
.where(...).first_or_create
# or
.where(...).first_or_initialize
ArgumentError: wrong number of
arguments (2 for 1)

Is anyone having the same
problem with Rails 3.2?

I am working through the Ruby on Rails tutorial and I am so close
to the end, but Factory Girl is not making it easy for me.

/>

I can't run any of the spec files that call for factory.

/>require 'spec_helper'
require 'factory_girl_rails' />describe User do
before(:each) do
@attr = { :name
=> "Example User",
:email =>
"user@example.com",
:password => "foobar", /> :password_confirmation => "foobar"

}
end
it "should create a new instance given

I'm simply trying to test my user model.

The error
comes from testing this bit.

describe User do

before do
@user = User.new(email: "foo@bar.com",
password:"foobar",

password_confirmation:"foobar", goal:"cut")
end
subject(
@user )
.
.
.

Here is
the exact error:

/>rspec-core-2.10.1/lib/rspec/core/subject.rb:180:in `subject':
wrong number of arguments (1 for 0) (ArgumentError)
/>

Thanks for the help!
