How can I get certain text from wikipedia?

Take this for example:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Bill_of_Rights

Under the "Amendments" section, I want to get what each bullet point says, and display them in a nice list in an android application. I know there's a wikimedia api, but I have absolutely no idea how to use it, and from what I understand of it, you can get the text under a section, but I'm not sure if you can get each bullet point separately.

What would be the best way to do this? Or instead of this, should I just spend my time copying the text from over 300 pages onto a text file, and reading it in the application?

I downloaded wikipedia dump and now want to remove the wikipedia markup in the contents of each page. I tried writing regular expressions but they are too many to handle. I found a python library but I need a java library because, I want to integrate into my code.

Thank you.

How to Cite Wikipedia in Text
Programming Languages

Both the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Modern Language Association (MLA) require that you include parenthetical citations within the text whenever you paraphrase or quote directly from a source. This can be problematic when citing Wikipedia articles, which have no credited authors, no date of publication and no page numbers. However, both the MLA and APA publish guidelines for the in-text citation of sources that lack standard publication information.
Wikipedia text download
Programming Languages

I am looking to download full Wikipedia text for my college project. Do I have to write my own spider to download this or is there a public dataset of Wikipedia available online?

To just give you some overview of my project, I want to find out the interesting words of few articles I am interested in. But to find these interesting words, I am planning to apply tf/idf to calculate term frequency for each word and pick the ones with high frequency. But to calculate the tf, I need to know the total occurrences in whole of Wikipedia.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
Bala
