android activty start from service always show even re launching the app. need to start first activity when app is relaunch

I have an activity A. now i start a service using

/>startService(new Intent(A.this,Service.class)); />

now after some times (since it is performing some
task in background , you can move anywhere in phone , so lets stay at
phone home screen) service stops and start an another activity B (now
B is on Top) which show result. Current i am on screen B. my problem
is when i am on B and press back , it does not show activity A. even
if i exist from app(through back button) and again I launch the app it
show activity B. since my starting activity is A so i want to show A
not B. please guide me how can i do this.

Specifically, I am looking for a way to prevent the "black screen"
from showing up when I run my app.

The app just runs a
quick program whenever it is pressed but since it is linked to an
Activity, it loads up a layout (black). I know I could do a widget
but I need it to be in the launcher....

Is there any way
to do this?

Android

I want to launch a Service when the app is launched
instead of an Activity; and then said Service will launch an
Activity
. I need to do this because my app needs to be running
ALWAYS, and when I say ALWAYS I mean ALWAYS. And the only way I've
managed to avoid the OS killing my app is by starting a service as
Sticky and should Android kill either my Activity or my Service I'll
restart them right away.

I found this question but the top
answer seems rather clumsy, any one has a better idea?

PS:
I know this doesn't look like a very friendly app but this is a very
specific research scenario and it's not intended for regular user
