Advertisers spent nearly $23 billion in online advertising in 2009,
according to a report from the Interactive Advertising Bureau, and
those numbers keep going up. Most companies have jumped on the online
advertising bandwagon, but not everybody is on board. Companies that
are used to traditional media, such as print and television
advertising, might not see the value in taking on a new advertising
approach. Finding ways to persuade these companies to advertise online
takes time and promotional efforts.Difficulty:ModerateInstructions

By design, Facebook's default settings leave little privacy. When you
log in a green dot appears next to your name in the built-in chat
application, letting your friends know whenever you sign on. This
feature can be a nuisance if you want to keep your Facebook use on the
down low. To bypass the chat program, set yourself as "Unavailable."
Once this is set you always appear to be offline, even if you log off
and on again.Difficulty:EasyInstructions Log into Facebook. The
chat window appears on the right side.
Click the gear icon at the
bottom right of the chat window.
Click "Unavailable to Chat." Your

hand, sometimes you get shorthand that might make sense to somebody
who gets the context intuitively - but not to me.
