Problem passing values in URL

I have my main page setup so that when a user clicks on a menu item,
that information changes. While the URL does not. IOW, using an
include. At this stage of the game, I am trying to work with an iframe
in the include page. That is, 3 pages are being combined into 1. The
original page 2 and...

i'm trying to send HTTP GET Request with values passed in URL for
the site

/>

http://somenthing.com/c/chk.php?val=somevalue

I used
the following code but it doesn't seems to work

/>HttpResponse response = null;
try {

HttpClient client = new DefaultHttpClient();
HttpGet request
= new HttpGet();
request.setURI(new
URI("http://somenthing.com/c/chk.php?val=somevalue"));

response = client.execute(request);
}
catch
(URISyntaxException e)

Hello I have site where I show/hide divisions that are loaded by
default at start. But the problem is that when I refresh page it is
always going back to main division. Is there any way I can do
something like mysite/#news mysite/#about?

Code that I
have:

$('a#btnNews').click(function()

{
$('#divabout').hide();

$('#divnews').fadeIn();

$('#pagetimer').load('scripts/loadtimer.php');
return
false;
});

$('a#btnAbout').click(function()
{

$('#divrooster').hide();
$('#divabout'

Hi, there
Guys I have this problem ( I am quite
newbie to JS ):
I deperately need to pass a value collected from
input field to URL. Just do not know how to solve this. I have a
feeling that I must declare a variable somehow.
The code is very
short and simple:
<input type="text"
maxlength="10" name="ammount" value=""
size="10">&nbsp; SKK
<script> />function GotoBank ()
{

window.open("https://site/index_eshop.htm?ESHOP=SP

I need to pass a value in a link, for example />www.domain.com/cgi-bin/script.cgi?value=12345
And I need the
value '12345' to pass into script.cgi so i can take the number and use
it in a mySQL query to select a certain row.
Is this possible? I
kno its very easy in PHP but i little trickier in C i have
found.

I am currently maintaining data between pages by explicitly
passing the values within the URL. For example, <a
href="test.php3?<?php echo
"user=$user&code=$code&prefs=$prefs";
?>">
I seem to remember having read of a way to do
this more or less implicitly; however, I'm not having any success
finding the reference.
Thanks in advance,
Rick
