What Is a Spatial Index?

HOME ยป Computers
In database design, an index is a data structure that takes the value
of one or more columns, or fields, as input and returns the
corresponding records quickly. A spatial index is an index on a column
containing spatial data or, in other words, data representing the
length, area and volume of lines, surfaces and other objects. Spatial
data is often used in computer-aided design, map making and geographic
information systems. PurposeSpatial datasets are typically large
and irregularly distributed. If a query is performed on a spatial
dataset without spatial indexes, every record in the dataset needs to
be examined to determine if it matches the search criteria. This type
of scan, known as
When you want to change the order in which the Apache Web server
application file looks for index pages, you will need to edit the
"httpd.conf" configuration file. This file includes a list of every
file to look for, with the preferred files being listed first. After
editing the file, you will need to refresh the server for changes to
take effect.Difficulty:ModerateInstructions Go to "Start" on the
Windows taskbar and enter "Notepad" in the search box. Navigate to
"File" on the top menu in Notepad and select "Open..." Navigate to the
"conf" folder inside your "Apache" folder, which is located where you
installed Apache. On Windows systems, Apache is usually directly under
the "C:" drive.

Index.html and Index.php are standard names for files containing Web
pages. Web pages are held on Web servers in a directory structure just
like the directories of a a PC. Although these two files have the same
base name, the different file extension makes each unique, and so both
can exist in the same directory. The file extensions indicate the
languages they are written in. HTMLAll Web pages are delivered to
Web browsers in a format called the Hypertext Markup Language. This is
because all Web browsers are HTML readers, or viewers. They are not
able to display files written in any other format, and they cannot
execute program code. The only way a different format or file can be
shown in

Index card tower building is an assignment given by teachers to
students to help them understand the basics of physics. The
requirement of the assignment can be height, strength or stability
from the index card tower. Assignment requirements will dictate the
way the structure can be built. All three requirements can be met
without using any extra items such as tape, glue, staples or
paperclips. Achieving the goal requires teamwork and a plan of
action.Difficulty:EasyInstructions Things You'll Need

Indexed annuities are insurance policies that act like long-term
savings. These policies may extend for up to 15 years or more.
However, the interest credited to the policies is different from a
regular fixed annuity. Indexed annuities tie the interest crediting to
a stock market index. Annual Point-to-PointAnnual point-to-point,
also called the "annual reset" method, uses the date at which you put
money into the annuity as the starting date to track the market index
you will be earning your interest from. For example, if your indexed
annuity tracks the S&P 500 index, then the day you put money into the
contract is the day the annuity starts tracking the S&P 500 for its
gains. On the anni

When you set up hosting on a Windows server through GoDaddy, the
server is automatically configured with a list of default files that
determines which file will display when people visit your website. In
this list, "index.html" has a greater priority than "index.php;" if
you want the latter file to be the one displayed, you need to remove
the former entirely.Difficulty:Moderately EasyInstructions Create
your "index.php" file, and upload it to your GoDaddy hosting
account.
Delete or rename the "index.html" file.
Ensure there
are no other files that will take priority. These files are
