Okay so i am trying to make it so i can unzip files using c++ and
found a library called zlib i built all .sln file in the folder
contrib/vstudio they all compiled succesfully but when i try to get
this example to work

/* unzips
testfile.txt from C: emp est.zip and puts it in a string*/#define
ZLIB_WINAPI // dont know if i need this or not#include
<cstdio>#include <string>#include <iostream>#include
"unzip.h" // MiniZip library#define WRITEBUFFERSIZE (5242880) // 5Mb
bufferusing namespace std;string readZipFile(string zipFile, string
fileInZip) { int err = UNZ_OK; // error status
uInt size_buf = WRI

I am trying to inflate using zlib. The data is from a network
packet contaning only unsigned charecters in QP encoded form
reading the file I have stored the data in an array

I'm trying to install podofo (pdf library) for use with MingW in
Windows XP. It requires zlib.
I'm using CMAKE to generate the
For some reason, CMAKE, no matter how many times i
redirect the ZLIB_LIBRARY to the zlib directory an error in CMAKE
occurs telling me that it can't find ZLIB_LIBRARY.

Any clues as
to why.????

I am trying to use the zlib based compression for buffer
compression. In this case, I am using compress2 function.

&compressed_size,(const Bytef*)package_data.pData,
(uLongf)orig_size, 1);

And for decompression I am using
uncompress function.

&UnCompSize, (const Bytef*)package_data.pData,

The problem is that the system tend to
be very slow. I have heard that the other functionalities of the zlib
compression library like inflate and deflate can be very useful.
