I am using the default DllSurrogate to enable automation of a 32bit COM
object in 64bit. This works perfectly in Windows7 64 bit and Windows
Server 2008 R2. However; regular flavor Windows Server 2008 (pre R2)
completely ignores the DllSurrogate entry in the registry. I've researched
this for days and found documentation that classic Windows Server 2008 had
registry reflection which ignores

strtotime("25/03/1957") returns false. what will satisfy
all of these date formats? i can't imagine how long it would take to
actually make my own, so i hope there's already one out there you know

I am wondering what is the best approach/methods/technology to implement
a C# desktop application that can upload files to a server?
was thinking of using a HttpWebRequest in the desktop application to send
the files and then a webservice to handle the files on the server.
need the server to check for user credentials and I need to know when a
file has been uploaded.

I have a problem with a web service I'm trying to debug. There is a
problem with the web service, but I don't seem to be able to get a handle
on it, because when I run the same project in the Visual Studio Debugger,
it can't find any relevant registry keys. They are just coming up null.
