How to open file/browse dialog in ps script for .bak file selection and getting the file path of the selected .bak file

I want to open a file/browse dialog for .bak file selection so that user can browse to its .bak file and then i want to retrieve the file path of the user selected .bak file.


i am very new to PS SCRIPT .how to achieve the above task in ps script

I'm using eclipse to write android apps in java. I used Eclipse file explorer to "pull a file from the device" on to my desktop. (All this on a Windows 7 Enterprise laptop).


When I go to open the file on my windows desktop, usually, but not quite always, it says I can't open the file because the file "is in use by another application and cannot be accessed."

I am trying to build a .coff file from the cygwin terminal. Steps I tried:


1. I set the name of my file "my.c" in the TARGETS field.


My Makefile:

In a batch file, how do I separate a file name and a file extention from a file path?

I have a batch file that accepts a file path. I then need to isolate the file name and the file extention separately. For example, if my file path is "svr-01My DocsMy Spreadsheet.xls" then I need two separate variables; one containing 'My SpreadSheet" and one containing ".xls".

Ok i wrote and application that use Adobe ActiveX control for displaying PDF files.


Adobe ActiveX control load files only from file system. So i nead to feed a file path to this control.


Problem is that i don't want to store PDF files on file system. Event temporary! I wan't to store my PDF files only in memory, and i want to use Adobe ActiveX control.
