Avoid repeated imports in Java: Inherit imports?
by surfsatwerk in Java

Is there a way to "inherit" imports?

Example:

Common enum:

public enum Constant{ ONE, TWO, THREE }

Base class using this enum:

public class Base {
protected void register(Constant c, String t) {
...
}
}

Sub class needing an import to use the enum constants convenient

Scala - mixing in a trait with its imports (inheriting imports)
by Tom Clark in Development

I have the following code:

trait A {
import org.somepackage.C._
}
class B extends A {
def getValue = value
^^^^^
}
object C {
var value = 5
}

The value in class B is not visible what means that the inherent import of class A was not inherited by B, altho

Any difference between class imports and package imports in Java?
by Seattle in Java

In Java we can either import single classes as well as the whole set of classes (a package).

As an example

import java.util.*

includes

import java.util.ArrayList;
import java.util.Date;
import java.util.Enumeration;
import java.util.HashSet;
import java.util.Hashtable;
import java.util.List;
import java

Cocoa Controller imports Model, Model imports Controller --> Exception

Model *model;
}
@end

Model.h:

#import <Cocoa/Cocoa.h>
#import "Controller.h"
@interface Mo

i have been delving into ida Pro for the last couple of weeks to get a bit of a background.

Something that has been bugging me for a long time though is the seemingly lack of support for pulling out the imported functions.

All i want is a script that can copy the entire imports window and paste into a text file, but I am having serious trouble finding anything in the A

How to use two #imports?
by eroi in Operating Systems

I am making an app in which a view controller needs to dismiss a UIAlertView when the user presses the home button. Therefore I need to do this through the app delegate. This view controller's class also needs the app delegate for many other things, so I have a #import in its header file. Up until now I have been using @class in the app delegate for something else, but now I need a #import so t

DataSet Row Add / Imports Nothing
by bmg in Programming Languages

So I have a function when fired queries against the database (twice) and returns the results in a dataset. It checks the results (to make sure there are some) then loops through and grabs each row from the returned dataset and imports (copies) it to a different dataset.

I also add a primary key into a List so I do not add the same item twice (from the 2nd query) to the dataset.
