Do you prefer to wrap JSON arrays in another JSON object or always require POST to prevent JSON Hijacking?
by Aravinth in Development Tools & Services

I recently started looking into building web applications using .NET MVC and I stumbled upon this blog post by Phil Haack: JSON Hijacking. For those of you who aren't aware of this vulnerability when using JSON to transfer sensitive data it's really a must read.

It seems that there are three ways to handle this vulnerability.

Require a POST instead of GET in your JSON servi

The problem is with inserting json strings into MySQL database.
In my python program I obtain json as a result of json.dumps(d) where d is a dictionary. Inserting code is:

query = ("INSERT INTO bm_triesJsons VALUES (%s, %s, %s);"%

How i can make json child nodes (JSON inside JSON)?
by itsmegb in Web Design

I try to use the jquery + json to get all elements in form and build a JSON var to post in a ASP.NET MVC method.

$.fn.serializeObject = function () {
var o = {};
var a = this.serializeArray();
$.each(a, function () {
if (o[this.name]) {
if (!o[this.name].push) {
o[this.name] = [o[this.name]];

JSON array to PHP / MySQL JSON.parse JSON.stringify how to store doube quotes and single quotes
by Bunny loves data in PHP

I have a form with fields and a text-area that allows any characters to be entered. I can't just submit the form, because the form is being recycled many times over, so the form values are being stored in associative arrays:

<form name='Theform'>
<input type="text" id="VISITOR_DETAILS_NAME" value="Joe">
<input type="text" id="VISITOR_DETAILS_SIZE"

How to convert an HTML table to JSON and use the JSON with JSON.NET?
by ec888 in Web Design

I'm asking this question because I think it's one that we run into from time to time. I needed to take an HTML table that had been manipulated client side and send the resulting table data to the server for processing. Additionally, I wanted to map this using JSON.NET directly to my business object(s).

parsing json in C# with json.net requires the json.net .dll?
by Ansari in C & C++ & C#

I have a simple c# library (myLib.dll) that can be registered to applications. It can be used as a plug-in. Now i would like to use the json.net library from Newton King, but i do not want to have 2 .dll that i have to send around.

Is there a way to use json.net and somehow embed the .dll into myLib.dll that in the end i have only my .dll?

Edit: to clerify: Is it allowed
