How do I end a Grails webflow if the user clicks on a link that's not in the webflow?
by sham63 in Web Design

I have a Grails application with a common navigation bar that shows on all pages. When the user starts a webflow, it will change the URL to look like this:

http://localhost:8080/app/transaction/create?execution=e5s1

But when I click to a link that's not in the webflow, it will still append the querystring:

http://localhost:8080/app/profile/show

I have a project built with Webflow 1.0 and Spring 2.0. We'd like to upgrade to Spring 3, but that requires Webflow 2.X.

I've updated all the Spring and Webflow jars in the project, but when I try to load the initial flow, I get:

Grails webflow url rewriting

Want to make the URLs SEO friendly when using grails webflow. It is quite limiting with the convention grails uses and hard to go around the way it's built.
For example, i have a flow called fooProcess in the controller called FooController, when i trigger the flow i would like the display: /foo/bar/test, instead of /foo/fooProcess?excecution=e1s2
