Hosted Wiki for documentation similar to Github wiki
by vb.net in Programming Languages

I want wiki similar to Github Wiki but Github Wiki is repository specific and can't be customized to remove Github navigation controls.

I would like a hosted wiki without any ads and should be easy to style/customize.

I am open to using Rails based simple wiki solution with good set of wiki features.

Minimal way to render Wiki Syntax (for example MoinMoin Wiki)
by gitano in Web Design

I enjoy using to Wikis to document all kind of stuff (recently I used MoinMoin, so I am used to that syntax).

Now I am looking for a more lightweight solution, for documents where setting up a MoinMoin server is too much hassle.

What is the "easiest" way to render a .txt file in Wiki syntax (for example by displaying it, or converting it to HTML)?

It should w

redmine: download wiki.html instead of the wiki page
by Barfo in Programming Languages

as I don't manage to register in the forum in redmine.org, I am copying this question here with my actual problem.

I am running Redmine 2.1.4 on Ruby 1.8.7 and Rails 3.2.8 .
It is being served by an Apache 2.2.1 in a Debian Linux using Phusion Passenger 2.2.15

When I click on the Wiki of a project, I get a "download Wiki.html" behavior rather than the wiki page itse

SPList wiki = rootWeb.Lists["Pages"];

asp.net mvc wiki
by zealot1983 in Programming Languages

I need to provide a wiki page for an app which would be like an island pretty much - little like codeplex wiki page

e.g.
site/Products/Details/1/Wiki

site/Products/Details/99/Wiki

site/Products/Details/2423423/Wiki

site/Some-other/page/page-id/Wiki

If there's a master admin page, that'd be fanstastic but is not a requirement

Only need: RTF --> Wiki Markup

I like to convert my personal KB (atm http://www.scribblepapers.de.vu/) to "Wiki on a Stick".
