I would like to hide part of the text in my RichTextBox. I know that v is the start of a hiding section. But how do I unhide ? For example if I want to hide the word "big" in the string "hello big world" so that "hello world" is visible:

text : "hello big world"
RTF so far : "hello v big world"

Div is not hiding via CSS after showing and hiding a div using jQuery
Category : Programming Languages

I have a little web app in which I show and hide DIVs a lot. Sometimes, however, I need to add a CSS class to that div that hides the div (using display:none rather than jQuery's hide() function) because I still need to know if the given div was initial shown on the screen. I typically use jQuery's addClass and removeClass accordingly.

Hiding an MKPolylineView causes blurring rather then hiding

On an iPhone with ios 4.0.2 the route hides and displays perfectly fine when I click the buttons.

On an iPhone with ios 4.1 installed the route displays fine. When I click the button to hide the route the line expands in size x2(roughly) and bec

Hiding a superview without hiding its subviews
Category : Mobile Programming

generally I know there are workarounds for this, but is there any simple way in the iOS SDK to hide a superview without hiding its subviews?

I have a parent view that is a background to a few other views. I would like to hide the parent, either through setting its transparency to 0, or setting "hidden" or something - the issue is that these changes affect all of the subviews of the

ASP.NET MVC - hiding id in URL?
Category : Programming Languages

I'm building a basic blog application just now, for viewing data I'm just using the default route, i.e. -

);

So that when you go to mysite.com/View/12 it displays the blog

How to Get a Bat Out of Hiding
Category : Home & Garden

They leave droppings, frighten guests and occasionally carry rabies. If your home has unscreened windows or other small openings, a nearby bat might fly in. If this happens to you, it is best to stay calm, as swatting at or c

Hiding value in the url
Category : Programming Languages

I need to pass the value 'key' to securitycode.php file.
This is my current code.

http://mydomain.com/securitycode.php?key=12345678

But I don't want the key value to be accessible through url (it is visible through browsers' 'view page source' functionality, which means spambots can easily access it, too). Since it's for security, that would make it mean
