I am running XCode 3.2.3 with the iPhone 4 SDK. I have paid apple and enrolled, added my certificates and provisioning profiles. Now, I have plugged my iPod into Xcode and clicked "Use for development". My iPhone is running iOS 4.1 and Xcode says -

iPhone Simulator build error on iPad and works fine on iPhone Simulator and iPhone Device

I am having a hard time figuring out this problem. My app has iAds enabled and it works on iPhone (device) and iPhone (simulator) 4.1. I know version 3.2 (iPad) does not support ads. So, I did a weak link to the iad library. In the build options => linking => other link tags I wrote iAd. After this I get a build error:

I've been working on a game for a long time, and I just started working on saving my score data permanently. I got it working on my test iPhone 3GS, and then sent it to 3 of my testers who have the iPhone 4. The save data does not work at all for them. I've done a lot of research but I can't figure out why their save data does not work..

Creating an Iphone App without having an iphone? (with iphone simulators?)

I am wondering how good of an idea it is to start creating iphone applications without actually having an iphone?


I found that there are simulators for iphone...


Are they good enough or is it likely that I might encounter some problems down the road when creating an app?

My application was rejected because it is crashing on iPhone 3G running iPhone OS 3.0.1 and iPod touch running iPhone OS 3.0 and Mac OS X 10.5.8. ,I thought that iPhone apps should be tested only on iPhone . Why they test it on the mac?

Appstore app works perfectly on iPhone 3GS but crashes on iPod Touch and iPhone 3G on launch

I developed an app with Xcode 3.2.3 and iphone SDK 4.0, it works fine on both iPhone 3GS and 3G if I run it directly with xcode.


However, if I download and install the app from appstore, it crashes at the launch screen for iPhone 3G and iPod Touch. (But works on 3GS with OS 3.1.3 or iOS 4.0)


The device log shows the following:

I have a custom table cell in an iPhone 3.x app to show basketball player data, including a picture. Here's my code from the table controller:

COCOS 2d V2.x Menu Alignment Issue - Tested in iPhone Simulator 5.1 and iPhone 4 Device

Not sure why the menu is aligned to Top Left corner , previous version the menu was aligned perfectly to the center. Testing in iPhone 4.


I know the solution [menu setPosition:ccp( size.width/2, size.height/2)]; but wanted to understand why its Aligned to Top Left.


To get the same result please try this in AppDelegate
