Is there a de-facto relation between the font size ranges {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7} and {xx-small, x-small, small, medium, large, x-large, xx-large}?
by Dan Ingraham in Web Design

In HTML/CSS font size can be specified in the following fashion (deprecated but all browsers support it):

text

with n an element of {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7}.

Another possibility is the following:

text

How to I serialize a large graph of .NET object into a SQL Server BLOB without creating a large buffer?
by Waynew in Programming Languages

We have code like:

ms = New IO.MemoryStream
bin = New System.Runtime.Serialization.Formatters.Binary.BinaryFormatter
bin.Serialize(ms, largeGraphOfObjects)
dataToSaveToDatabase = ms.ToArray()
// put dataToSaveToDatabase in a Sql server BLOB

But the memory steam allocates a large buffer from the large memory heap that is giving us problems.

Large Forms = Large PHP/mySql Query Strings… Is There a Good Solution?

Post request body too large (string in parameter object too large)
by Kocur in Programming Languages

I have an MVC method:

public void PushFile([FromBody]FileTransport fileData)

Method for storing a large amount of units, with a large array of attributes
by joshboles in Programming Languages

Me and a friend are currently looking at developing a game, with similarities to a certain trademarked francise. To define the units in the game, we've created an abstract class which denotes the 44 variables, and two methods that need to be instantiated with each instance of a unit. The next step in this game would be to of course, define all the units in the game. Unfortunately, I have 648 un

How to read large XML file consisting of large number of small items efficiently in Java?
by LDam in Java

I have a large XML file that consists of relatively fixed size items i.e.

<rootElem>

...

...

...

<rootElem>

The item elements are relatively shallow and typically rather small ( <100 KB), but there may be a lot of them (hundreds of thousands). T

Fastest approach to compare 2 large arrays - large data
by Puffnstuff in Databases

I have a dataset of about 10mm hashes. I need to allow people to compare a list of hashes against those to see if they match or not. Right now we use sql and basically scan it for each of the items in the guessing array. This worked for about 10K but users are needing to check a larger set, something like 200K hashes against a dictionary of 10mm hashes

what might be a good approach
