CS0104: 'Scripts' is an ambiguous reference between 'System.Web.WebPages.Scripts' and 'System.Web.Optimization.Scripts'
by soonk in Web Design

My project is on MVC 4.
In it I can't access any of scripts function like @Scripts.Render("~/bundles/modernizr") as Scripts is an ambigious reference between 'System.Web.WebPages.Scripts' and 'System.Web.Optimization.Scripts'

I have following entries in my webconfig :

<add namespace="System.Web.Helpers"

grails: guidance on writing scripts, esp for calling existing database-migration scripts
by Barak in Development Tools & Services

My requirement is to invoke some processing from a Jenkins build server, to determine whether the domain model has changed since the last build. I've come to the conclusion that the way forward is to write a script that will invoke a sequence of existing scripts from the db-migration plugin. Then I can invoke it in the step that calls test-app and war.

I've looked in the Grails doc

How to filter scripts by name in Chrome's Developer Tool “Scripts” Tab
by Timur Asaliev in Programming Languages

Some sites have many scripts. For example orionhub.
In such a case Chrome's Developer Tools become a little bit confusing (See Picture).
Is there a way to filter the shown scripts, for example by name?

edit: I found that when I am in the "Scripts" Context I can start typing and the first script matching the word I typed so far will be selected.

Database Change Management - Setup for Initial Create Scripts, Subsequent Migration Scripts
by silvervino in Databases

I've got a database change management workflow in place. It's based on SQL scripts (so, it's not a managed code-based solution).

The basic setup looks like this:

Generate Initial Schema.sql
Generate Initial Required Data.sql
Generate Initial Test Data.sql

ASP.NET MVC4 Bundling scripts not finding scripts in sub folders - why?
by Tone in Web Design

In my ASP.NET MVC4 application's RegisterBundles method, I create the following Script bundle:

bundles.Add(new ScriptBundle("~/bundles/whatever")

So, "whatever1.js" is directly under the Scripts folder, whilst "whatever2.js" is in a subfolder under Scripts.

by YuriyLazarev in Development Tools & Services

Do the userdata scripts run before or after the ones set up to run on every boot? Is there a way to change the priority?

How do servers handle scripts? Specifically, scripts that run for a while
by GarlicBreath in Programming Languages

I have a script that streams files from a server and saves the data gathered, small chunks at a time to prevent memory overflow, on the host server.

Did I mention it is a PHP script?

This is how it works

//loop while data exists on the clients server side file.
while (!feof($xml_fp)) {
//grab data in proportions of specified ch

converting gant build scripts into ant scripts
by Bin in Development Tools & Services

I am pressmuming (without really knowing) that "gant" is superior to "ant", especially when building grails applications. I have some old, inherited, grails apps using ant. Is is possible or easy to convert existing build.xml files into gant build scripts?

Jquery utilities scripts, IE, External scripts
by Juice in Development Tools & Services

I have a very strange problem.
IE throws me error messages when I try to use - JqueryUtilities as $. Cookie. Problem only occurs when I try to access these functions from an external script. If I use these functions in a script page itself they work.

Any idea?
