by Elcs in Development Tools & Services

I am looking for an algorithm to encrypt secret numbers on a mobile device with these properties:

Each number has a name associated by the user which is stored in cleartext but may be used to perturb the encryption
The number has to be encrypted with the password without revealing a hint about whether a given password is right or wrong
When decrypting with a wrong password, t

Is there a UIImage imageWithCGImage:scale:orientation: method? Or wrong doc & wrong approach?
by n3. in Operating Systems

Since I need to place images along all 4 sides of the iPad, I assumed that I could use one of these methods to put the image's orientation 'up' relative to the respective side.

I'm relatively new to the iOS, but I read through the Apple doc. Because the Apple documentation seems to suggests that I could accomplish this with the UIImage class, forward I went. Specifically, their UII

replacing the wrong cookie with the wrong data
by Lucas Thompson in Web Design

I've fallen into a bit of a random trap with some JavaScript! Basically, I'm working on a to-do-list site that saves each to-do as a cookie (I know, I know, localStorage is probably a better way to go).

Now, when someone checks off a cookie I've got a couple of functions that run in order to delete the original and save a new one with the same ID number, but this time
