I cant understand this access modifier

fixed the issue. Will look into that further D can see members of A and B, but because of protected inheritance, only D and classes derived from D know that D is a B and can access B and A members. main is not derived from D, so main is not aware of D's inheritance of B and thus cannot access the inherited A and B members.

help you fix your problem private - Only the class itself can access it
package-private - No modifier is assigned. Only classes in the same package can access it

I wish this helpful for you Methods in interfaces implicitly have the access modifier of public. So when you implement it with protected, it is a weaker access modifier.

fixed the issue. Will look into that further Here's the solution for the easiest case, when you only have one modifier for each employee, or if there are several of them and you only want to pick up one randomly (I used FIRST() aggregate function)
code :
SELECT
    T.userID, T.summedScore, Tmod.modif AS modifier, (T.summedScore * NZ(Tmod.modif,1)) AS finalscore
FROM
(
    SELECT [userID], sum([score]) AS summedScore
    FROM tbl_KPIScores
    WHERE Modifier=False
    GROUP BY UserID
) AS T
LEFT JOIN
(
    SELECT userID, FIRST([score]) AS modif
    FROM tbl_KPIScores
    WHERE Modifier=True
    GROUP BY UserID
) AS Tmod ON T.userID=Tmod.userID

seems to work fine It would appear to be a bug in the JavaDocs generation for the Support Library. Framework classes show the static keyword where you are expecting it, as do AndroidX classes.
I filed an issue to try to get this repaired.

it should still fix some issue This is very basic in OOP concepts. When the class should need to not to expose it parameters, it would define them as "private". Any class outside have no any access to it. Either these variables are for the use of the class itself only or there are public getters and setters which give indirect but controlled access to these variables.
example is age. Let say someone need to set minus value to age, then the setter method can avoid setting that value. It is a bad practice in OOP to expose variables as public. If you do that, any other logic which can create an instance of the class can change the value of the varible.
