Creating Subdirectories with a for loop

Creating Subdirectories with a for loop

this one helps. Just realised my mistake - the inner for loop is to add the various parts together, but it's not adding them just replacing them, you need to reset it and add each segment on using .=...
code :
    $folder = "";
    for ($l=0; $l <= $k; $l++) {
        $folder .= permalink($cats[$l])."/" ;
        // echo $folder;
    }

wish helps you Instead of manually typing --exclude 'root/a/.CC' --exclude 'root/b/.CC' ... you can type $(find root -type d -name .CC -exec echo "--exclude \'{}\'" \;|xargs)
You can use whatever patterns find supports, or even use something like grep inbetween find and xargs.

it should still fix some issue You can try in the following way (mind the regex, it does not match at the moment):
code :
task copyLogs(type: Copy) {
  from fileTree('logs').filter { it.isFile() && it.name.matches('.*_CORE.*') }
  into 'dist'
  includeEmptyDirs = false
}

Any of those help I have a directory whose name is 1990 and I would like to create 12 subdirectories within it (one per month) using a for loop. Also, I want each subdirectory to be named after a month (that is, January, February, March..., instead of 1, 2, 3...). I also don't know which way I should specify the name of the directory (i.e., 1990) in my function.
code :
for m in {1..12}; do date -d "1990-$m-01" "+%Y/%B"; done | xargs mkdir -p
mkdir -p 1990/{January,February,March,April,May,June,July,August,September,October,November,December}
for m in {1..12}; do date -d "1990-$m-01" "+mkdir -p %Y/%B"; done | sh

wish of those help The GNU standards are outdated in many places. This appears to be one of these places.
Nowadays, mkdir -p is part of POSIX. It is not even a recent invention because it came from System V.
code :
MKDIR_P = mkdir -p

I wish this helpful for you I think that ROBOCOPY will do what you want. Learn about the options using ROBOCOPY /?.
code :
ROBOCOPY /S /MOV C:\Parent\basis C:\Parent\basis_ft *.txt
Copy-Item -Path 'C:\Parent\basis' -Destination 'C:\Parent\basis_ft' `
    -Filter '*.txt' -Recurse
Get-ChildItem -Path 'C:\Parent\basis' -Filter '*.txt' |
    ForEach-Object { Remove-Item -Path $_.FullName -WhatIf }
