wish of those help You need to provide a place to store your array on all ranks, and name is already a pointer:
code :
char name[100];
if (myid == 0) {
    // Read myname.txt file and convert it to a string
    ifstream input("myname.txt");
    for (int i = 1; i < nprocs; i++){
        input >> name;
        cout << name;
    }
    input.close();
}
// Send name and alphabet strings to all processors by means of broadcasting
MPI_Bcast(name, 100, MPI_CHAR, 0, MPI_COMM_WORLD);

hope this fix your issue Strings in C are terminated with a null byte. strlen returns the length of the string without the null byte. So when you send the string using MPI, instead of the terminating null byte at the receiver there is some garbage data at the end.
A simple fix would be to add 1 to the value returned by strlen. This does have security implications though if the length value can overflow. This is probably not a concern in scientific code, but something to be aware of.

it fixes the issue An excellent way to handle this, since you're using jQuery anyway, is the jQuery Form plugin: http://malsup.com/jquery/form/. It's widely used, free of any major bugs as far as I've ever seen (been using it for many months), easy to implement.

Does that help You cannot send the request from PHP to client - PHP is server side technology what does mean that the client need to request server then you can check for the cookie and send anything.
If you want to to anything like this you need to periodically fire some JS script to tell server to try to send data when for example some flag is set to true. The scenario would be then
code :
sending (for example) AJAX request each 1s:
    if FORM_HAS_BEEN_SENT == true:
        check for a cookie and perform action

/*meanwhile*/ set FORM_HAS_BEEN_SENT on getting form request
I want to send form and some text to another file with ajax or json or whatever. Currently it is not working

Hope this helps So I have an onclick function which sends a message to another php file which sends the message to the database. I want to send to the php file, the whole form and a specific chat_index value. So far I have: , post your data in json format,
code :
$(".comin").keypress(function(event) {
  if (event.which == 13) {
    event.preventDefault();
        var chatData = {
            q: item_id,
            formData:$('#comform').serialize()
        }
         $.ajax({
            url: 'sendcom.php',
            type: 'post',
            dataType: 'json',
            data: chatData,
            success: function (data) {
                $('#target').html(data.msg);
            }

        });
    }
});
Instead of using a lot of java code, why not send a script to DB in the form of text file?

around this issue Pretty much every database I am aware of has such a capability (including MySQL mentioned in your tag). You simply do something like this from a command line client (this example for MySQL)
