fixed the issue. Will look into that further To solve this, please change all compile keywords to implementation. According to my answer from this post, please comment/remove the following line of code:
code :
//compile 'com.google.android.gms:play-services:12.0.1'
implementation "com.google.android.gms:play-services-base:16.0.1"
implementation "com.google.android.gms:play-services-analytics:16.0.5"
classpath 'com.android.tools.build:gradle:3.2.0-alpha18'
classpath 'com.android.tools.build:gradle:3.2.1'
implementation 'com.google.firebase:firebase-core:16.0.5'
implementation "com.google.firebase:firebase-core:16.0.6"

hop of those help? You need to update the Google Repositorty in Andriod-SDK under Extras. Then Sync your project and your project will sync successfully.
Because Firebase 9.0.2 Updated version is under updated Google Repo.

will be helpful for those in need You need to add the google() maven inside your allProjects block in your project build.gradle like this:
code :
buildscript {
    repositories {
        jcenter()
        mavenCentral()
    }
    dependencies {
        ...
    }
}

repositories {
    ...
}

// You need to add the google maven in this block.
allprojects {
    repositories {
        jcenter()
        google()
    }
}

wish of those help In order to add firebase-database to your application, you also need to add the firebase-core libraries (which you commented out).
app/build.gradle
code :
dependencies {
  // ...
  implementation 'com.google.firebase:firebase-core:16.0.6'
 }

Any of those help Installing latest version of google repository will help.
Go to the Menu bar > Tools > Android > SDK Manager Click on Tab > SDK Tools Check and install 'Google Play Services' and 'Google Repository' Now, click Sync and build your project again.
