will help you There's no golden rule for that.
In Maven Projects (for which I use IntelliJ), I usually mention the class in code (which will cause a compiler error) and then open the quick fixes using Alt+Enter. In there, IntelliJ will either offer the possibility to import the class, if it was found on the class path or offer me to "Add [a] Maven dependency". If I select "Add Maven dependency", a search tool will come up which allows me to search maven central by class name. However, I experienced many cases where the search wouldn't find anything. I suspect that Android Studio has a similar capability for gradle (since Android Studio is built on top of IntelliJ).

wish of those help The easiest solution is to commit the XML file to source control. If you put it under src/main/webapp/WEB-INF/conf/thatxmlartifactfile.xml, it will get included in the War automatically.
If you need to get the file from Artifactory, you can do so as follows:
code :
configurations {
    jibx
}

dependencies {
    jibx "some.group:someArtifact:1.0@xml"

war {
    from { configurations.jibx.singleFile }
}

seems to work fine Answer 1 (will cover 2 as well in a different sense): Using Artifactory "Artifact Bundle" feature section under "Deploy" tab can do the TRICK for AT LEAST uploading the artifacts in a way we want, by creating a zip file first (containing the structure and artifacts in it) --OR you can upload the artifacts using/calling Artifactory REST API way.
High level idea:

With these it helps You need to make webapp a dependency of the operator project.
Sample POM of operator:
code :
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<project xmlns="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
    xsi:schemaLocation="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0 http://maven.apache.org/xsd/maven-4.0.0.xsd">

    <modelVersion>4.0.0</modelVersion>
    <packaging>jar</packaging>
    <version>0.0.1-SNAPSHOT</version>
    <groupId>my-groupid</groupId>
    <artifactId>operator</artifactId>
    <dependencies>
        <dependency>
            <groupId>my-groupid</groupId>
            <artifactId>webapp</artifactId>
            <version>${project.version}</version>

should help you out Android Gradle Plugin 3.3.x (at least -alpha releases at the time of writing this answer) has breaking change, task bundleRelease was renamed to bundleReleaseAar
So the solution is to use: bundleReleaseAar instead of bundleRelease.
