Page to route 404 with login

Page to route 404 with login

To fix the issue you can do If I understand well your problem, when a user type something wrong in the url and is not logged in, this user is redirected to '/' instead of 404.
It's because the beforeEach hook is used before your route redirect {path: '*', redirect: '/404'} and your condition to redirect an user not logged in if the page requiresAuth is true.
code :
if (isLoggedIn === null){
    if (requiresAuth && !isLoggedIn.user) {
        if (!to.matched.length) {
           next('/404');
        } else {
           next('/');
        }
    } else {
        next();
    }

} else {
    next();
}

like below fixes the issue As I was saying in comments, since you seem to always do some sort of redirection on login (back to login or to home) by your MVC controller, then you can as well use form's action to do the trick.
https://plnkr.co/edit/ewu83nORY6qYLN7dW6m4?p=preview
code :
<form action="do_magic.html" method="get">
  <input type="text" name="id"></input>
  <button type="submit"> submit </button>
</form>
<html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; url=redirected.html" />
</head>
</html>
app.controller('MainCtrl', function($scope) {
  $scope.name = 'World';
  $scope.go_google=function(){
    window.location="test.html";
  }
});

seems to work fine The ASP.NET Identity will do the work for you. You just have to define which files/folders are protected and which are public. You can define it in the ConfigureServices method of the startup.cs file.
code :
services.AddMvc()
    .AddRazorPagesOptions(options =>
    {
        options.Conventions.AuthorizeFolder("/AuthorizedFolder");
        options.Conventions.AuthorizePage("/AuthorizedPage");
        options.Conventions.AllowAnonymousToFolder("/AuthorizedFolder/AllowFolder");
        options.Conventions.AllowAnonymousToPage("/AuthorizedFolder/AllowPage");
    });
using Microsoft.AspNetCore.Authorization;
using Microsoft.AspNetCore.Mvc;

namespace WebApplication3.Controllers
{
    [Authorize]
    public class TestController : Controller
    {
        public IActionResult Index()
        {
            return View();
        }
    }
}
using Microsoft.AspNetCore.Authorization;
using Microsoft.AspNetCore.Mvc;

namespace WebApplication3.Controllers
{
    public class TestController : Controller
    {
        [Authorize]
        public IActionResult Index()
        {
            return View();
        }
    }
}
using Microsoft.AspNetCore.Authorization;
using Microsoft.AspNetCore.Mvc;

namespace WebApplication3.Controllers
{
    [Authorize]
    public class TestController : Controller
    {
        [AllowAnonymous]
        public IActionResult Index()
        {
            return View();
        }
    }
}

Hope that helps Auth::route() is syntactic sugar for routes Laravel bootstrap. This answer shows the workings. You could just copy the files that Auth::routes() creates and edit them as suites you.

This might help you I just remove the menu and leave it blank as below. The menu appeared.
code :
{
path: '',
component: MenuPage,
children:[
  {
    path: 'reportlist', canActivate: [AuthGuard], loadChildren: './reportlist/reportlist.module#ReportlistPageModule' },
  { path: 'profile', canActivate: [AuthGuard], loadChildren: './protected/profile/profile.module#ProfilePageModule' },
  { path: 'profile-edit', canActivate: [AuthGuard], loadChildren: './protected/profile-edit/profile-edit.module#ProfileEditPageModule' },
  { path: 'report-detail', canActivate: [AuthGuard], loadChildren: './protected/report-detail/report-detail.module#ReportDetailPageModule' },
  { path: 'report-create', canActivate: [AuthGuard], loadChildren: './protected/report-create/report-create.module#ReportCreatePageModule' },
