This might help you You have added that parameter to the SELECT COUNT command but not to the DELETE command.
code :
Dim queryCancellazione As String = "DELETE FROM tblLogin WHERE username = @Username"
Dim cmdCancellazione As New SqlClient.SqlCommand(queryCancellazione, conn)
cmdCancellazione.Parameters.Add("@Username", SqlDbType.VarChar).Value = txtUsername.Text

Does that help @DBNull is correct. You need to change the actual execution of the bcp command to something like this....
code :
SET @query = 'bcp "' + @query + '" queryout "C:\bcptest.txt" -T -c -t,';
EXEC xp_cmdshell @query;

Hope that helps I am trying to declare these values and use execute them to get a specific values of an attribut in a table. However everytime I am time trying to set @test and @columnPeriod it gives me the error Must declare the scalar variable "@test" or Must declare the scalar variable "@columnPeriod" , You can't combine Strings and INTs
Try
code :
SET @columnPeriod = 'SELECT Period FROM Courses WHERE year = ' + CONVERT(VARCHAR(12),@test) + ' Limit 1';
