Accessing the position of the elements of an Enum

Accessing the position of the elements of an Enum

may help you . You don't need the position at all, you can just switch over the enum directly.
code :
public String operation(Option option, int chosenBox) {
    switch(option) { // ...
}
public String operation(int optionIndex, int chosenBox) {
    Option option = Option.values()[optionIndex];
    switch(option) { // ...
}

wish helps you I suspect your problem is that by using the [] syntax to access your map, you're implicitly telling Freemarker to treat it as a hash. That may not work as you'd expect -- the hash will probably represent the Map object, mapping 'size' and 'containsKey' and so forth to Java methods. Instead, try:
code :
${myelement.mymap.get(fieldtypes.SEOTEXT)}
${myelement.mymap.get(stack.findValue("@com.example.MinisiteFieldType@SEOTEXT"))}

around this issue Not everything with indexed properties ([0], [1] etc) is an Array - it can be any sort of a collection of objects, which is not the same thing. It may even just be an object with a 0 property and not a collection at all.
In this scenario, document.forms is an HTMLCollection - a specialised collection of HTML elements - and window.document.forms[1].elements is a HTMLFormControlsCollection, which inherits from HTMLCollection.
code :
// all log true
console.log(window.document.forms instanceof HTMLCollection);
console.log(window.document.forms[1].elements instanceof HTMLFormControlsCollection);
console.log(window.document.forms[1].elements instanceof HTMLCollection);

// NOTE: typeof doesn't give the exact type of an object.
// This just logs "object", rather than "HTMLCollection", because it is an object, as opposed to e.g. a number
console.log(typeof window.document.forms);

var myObject = {0: 'foo', 1: 'bar'};
// log "foo bar"
console.log(myObject[0], myObject[1]);
<form></form>
<form></form>
Create enum list with order of position within enum, not value

hop of those help? The below code always orders by the value of the enum, but I would like to do it by position in the enum. You noticed Matchup is third in the enum but with value of 6. It always comes out of the iteration as last in the list.
code :
foreach(FieldInfo fi in typeof(RestrictionDetailType).GetFields()
  .Where(fi => fi.IsStatic).OrderBy(fi => fi.MetadataToken))
    Console.WriteLine(fi.Name);

hop of those help? You could convert upgradeStatus to a static method, this will make your code compile:
code :
fileprivate static func upgradeStatus() -> [String: Sample1] {
    return [
        RawString.validValue.rawValue : .valid
    ]
}
