With these it helps I have had a similar experience (asked not to use Generics, because the may be confusing to my colleagues).
The fact is, that we now use generics and non of my colleagues are having a problem with them. They may not have grasped how to create generic classes, but they sure do understand how to use them.

this one helps. deftype and defprotocol define dynamic behavior in Clojure. In Racket, we'd do things like that with struct or struct-property, although there's nothing quite like defprotocol in Racket.
Edit: Racket now has generics, which are like Clojure protocols.

Does that help The default one will always be there by design. Code that's not explicitly described with optional OrchardFeature attribute will fall into this feature.
You need to treat the default feature (the one with the same identifier as the module) as FeatureA and the other one as FeatureB. Assuming your module project is named AbModule it should look like this:
code :
Name: AB Module
AntiForgery: enabled
Version: 1.0
OrchardVersion: 1.0
Description: Test module with 2 features
Category: My New Category
Features:
    AbModule:
        Name: Feature A
        Category: My New Category
    AbModule.FeatureB:
        Name: Feature B
        Category: My New Category

it helps some times The features-X directory aggregates all the project's features in a feature repository. The odl-* directories are the project's single features. A feature repository is registered with karaf via the feature:repo-add command or the featuresRepositories property in etc/org.apache.karaf.features.cfg. It makes all the project's features available to karaf so they can be installed via feature:install.

wish of those help Yocto uses features as a means to figure out which libraries, utilities and kernel modules to include in the image.
There is some overlap between the three feature categories (especially distro- and image features), and it is not always obvious where to look for a particular feature. For example, api-documentation is a distro feature, while doc-pkgs is an image feature.
