I wish did fix the issue. The main class in Java does not have to have any particular name. In fact, a Java project can have several main classes, all with different names.

fixed the issue. Will look into that further I need a regexp, that matches \n everywhere, except \\\\\n (n with multiple \) Every other variant is suitable. For example: , I believe you are looking for a Negative Lookbehind here.

Here is a pretty simple regex:

this will help If looking for a generic regex for both replacements as your question's code seems to want, this is how to make it work:
the regex for .* that captures all characters is greedy by default, it means that it will try to capture as many characters as it can. This is why your first replacement replaces all.
